Considered the strongest of the European Nations, the English side will draw the majority of their players from the national British Universities Sports Association (BUSA) Rugby League competitions.
Participating in the Tertiary World Cup since the concepts inception back in 1986, England have finished as runners up twice in the tournament (1989 & 1999) consistently struggling in events held outside of the Northern Hemisphere, however after a surprise 20 - 18 win over the Australians in 2007 in London, the English will be backing their chances of turning this form in the World Cup. |
